Annunciate le nomination agli Eisner Awards 2024

Tra le autrici e gli autori in nomination ci sono anche due italiani: Mirka Andolfo e Mattia De Iulis.

Le candidature per l’edizione del 2024 degli Eisner Awards, il premio fumettistico più ambito in America, sono state annunciate sul sito del San-Diego Comicon, la più grande fiera del fumetto degli Stati Uniti, dove avverranno anche le premiazioni il prossimo 26 luglio.

Il premio, intitolato alla memoria di uno dei più grandi pionieri del fumetto, Will Eisner, viene assegnato annualmente da una giuria qualificata ed esperta nei vari ambiti dell’industria fumettistica.

Tra le autrici e gli autori in nomination spiccano due italiani: Mirka Andolfo e Mattia De Iulis, mentre tra le case editrici Image e DC hanno ricevuto il maggior numero di nomination: Image con 17 (più 8 condivise) e DC con 13 (più 8 condivise).
I nominati della Image coprono un ampio spettro di titoli, con nomination multiple per The Cull, Black Cloak Transformers. In cima alle nomination della DC ci sono Birds of Prey, Detective Comics, Shazam! e Nightwing.
Seguono Fantagraphics Books (11), First Second (10), IDW (9), Drawn & Quarterly (8) e Marvel Comics con 5 (più 3 condivise).
