Massimo Giacon nasce a Padova nel 1961. Dal 1980 lavora a milano sospeso tra le sue attività di fumettista, illustratore, designer, artista e musicista. Protagonista sin dai primi anni ’80 del rinnovamento del fumetto italiano scaturito da riviste come Frigidaire, Alter, Linus, Dolce Vita, Cyborg,Nova Express. Ha aggiunto alla sua attività diverse collaborazioni come designer con studi e marchi prestigiosi ( Sottsass, Mendini, Alessi, Artemide, Swatch, Memphis, Olivetti). Nel 1990 inizia un‘attività artistica che lo ha portato a numerose personali in Italia e all’estero. Ha disegnato letteralmente di tutto : arazzi, tappeti, siti web, oggetti per la cucina, magliette, vestitti, oggetti per il bagno e per l’ufficio, lampadari, orologi, giocattoli, ceramiche… Attualmente sta collaborando a diverse serie in animazione, lavorando a diversi progetti editoriali ( libri, riviste, graphic novels), e continuando la sua attività artistica e performativa intorno al globo.

Massimo Giacon was born in Padova in 1961. Since 1980 he has worked in Milan, suspended between his activity as cartoonist, illustrator, designer, artist, and musician. In the frontline since the early 80s as an innovator of the italian comics scene created by magazines like Frigidaire, Alter, Linus, Dolce Vita, Cyborg,Nova Express. He added to his activities collaborations as designer with prestigious firms and brands (Sottsass, Mendini, Alessi, Artemide, Swatch, Memphis, Olivetti). In 1990 he started an artistic activity that brought him to several personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad. He has literally drawn everything: tapestry, rugs, web sites, kitchenwares, shirts, clothes, objects for the toilette and for the office, chandeliers, watches, toys, pottery… He is currently working on a animated series, on several publications (books, magazines, graphic novels), and going on with his artistic and performative activity all over the globe.
