Adam McGovern

Adam McGovern contributed scripts to the U.S. indie-comic newspaper “pood” and Image Comics’ “Next issue Project” with Italy’s own Paolo Leandri as artist, and collaborated with Giuseppe Palumbo and Stefano Pavan on the stage-play “Funnybook/Tragicbook” in Brooklyn, USA. McGovern also adapted nearly 50 of GG Studio’s comics for the American market with Andrea Plazzi, and provided an essay for Kappa’s 2008 Italian anthology of Will Eisner’s Spirit. He is working on another essay for an upcoming museum catalog with Ferragamo. McGovern is seeking political asylum in Lucca, or failing that, Earth 2.
